This project was born out of a simple but recurring frustration: inventory tracking in bars is chaotic, slow, and overly manual. Kanpaï emerged as a solution to bring clarity, visibility, and control to that process. My role involved crafting a user interface that’s as intuitive as it is robust—built for professionals who are short on time but still care about doing things right. Every component was designed to give users more control: stock alerts, purchase orders, sales trends, supplier communication... all from one place. Visually, the system needed to feel both approachable and reliable. We used bold yet warm color schemes, a clean type system, and subtle animations to support focus and speed. The tone of the interface—like the brand itself—blends professionalism with a spark of attitude: confident, easy-going and friendly. Ultimately, this was a project about dignity through design: empowering those behind the bar to take back their time and focus on what makes their craft worth it—people, experience, and connection.
